    • Icon updates on iPhone Springboard

Moon Blocks 1.1 Release Notes

  • New Features:

    • Solved Shadow – Tiles will now have a shadow placed on them when they are out of position. This gives a visual cue for when a tile is properly positioned. It defaults to “On”, but can be controlled from the main menu.

    Game Play Improvements:

    • Flick Movement – You can move one or more tiles by touching it and “flicking” it in the direction you want it to move. This will improve the speed with which the game can be played as well as resolve the issue of tiles “hanging” when they were not moved all the way to their new positions.
    • Performance Improvements - Starting a new game should take approximately half the time it took in 1.0. Also, there are various other performance tweaks relating to efficiency in drawing the tiles as they move. Should reduce the “jerkiness” that was present on the larger boards.

    Other:

    • Reduced Minimum System Requirements - Moon Blocks can now be played on devices running iPhone OS 2.2 or better (instead of requiring the 2.2.1 patch).
    • Reduced Install Size – Moon Blocks is now less than 900k in size, which will reduce download time for users that are installing via the cell data network (EDGE or 3G).
